Our Story
From garment manufacturing
to global sourcing
Gill International began as a family business in Leicester, a city with deep roots in the UK clothing industry. Starting out in garment manufacturing, the business evolved with the trade, transitioning into importing as global supply chains opened up new possibilities for quality and value.
The business is still run by the Gill family, along with their close-knit team of specialists.
We have close partnerships with both Asian and European suppliers, for the best balance of quality and affordability. Those relationships underpin everything we do, from our two in-house wholesale labels to the bespoke collections we develop for retail partners across the UK.

Whether you’re developing your own collection or stocking one of ours, we maintain exclusivity on your behalf. We check geographic distance between stockists so you won’t find the same product next door. Both big accounts and independent retailers are valued equally here.
Our designers specialise in womenswear for the British market, with a sharp focus on fit and fabrication. We don’t just source; we create collections with real commercial instinct, developed and designed in the UK.
Next day delivery as standard on in-stock styles. Pre-orders are always prioritised when a new season is ready. We manage the full supply chain and communicate proactively at every stage.
Production samples must receive written approval before any goods are dispatched. QC is carried out at source and on arrival. No shortcuts, no surprises.
Our Nina Murati label runs from as few as 4 to 6 units per style, opening up premium womenswear to buyers who can’t commit to large runs. Hepburn offers strong value at higher volumes for mass-market retail.
